What Our Pest Control Work Covers

Last updated: October 2026

Indiana Pest Pros provides residential and commercial pest control across Indiana, including treatments for ants, bed bugs, termites, mice, rats, cockroaches, fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, wasps, spiders, carpenter bees, and pantry pests, plus initial inspections. All pesticides are applied strictly according to the product label as required by FIFRA, and our work follows Indiana Code 15-16-4 applicator certification rules, Indiana pesticide product registration requirements, and 355 IAC 7 pesticide rules. Products we use are registered with the Office of Indiana State Chemist and Seed Commissioner, and empty containers are disposed of per label directions and EPA guidance.

Some situations fall outside a standard service visit and require a separate written agreement structural repairs, wildlife exclusion, moisture remediation, and cleanup of heavy infestations in vacated properties. If we identify work we do not perform, we will tell you plainly and, where we can, point you toward the right trade. We may also coordinate with the Indiana Department of Health, Indiana Department of Environmental Management, or your county health department when a situation calls for it.

Booking, Rescheduling, and Cancellation Terms

Appointments can be scheduled by phone, email, or through our website. Once you book, we will confirm your arrival window and call ahead if we are running behind.

We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or move an appointment. Cancellations made with less notice, or missed visits where we cannot access the property, may be subject to a trip charge we will always explain this before it applies.

Preparation matters. Many treatments require you to clear access to baseboards, cabinets, or pet areas. If the property is not ready when we arrive, we will reschedule rather than perform partial work that will not hold up.

If we find something during a visit that changes the scope for example, termite activity beyond the area quoted we will stop, explain what we found, and get your approval before doing anything additional. No extra work happens without your sign-off. Weather can also force a reschedule for outdoor applications like mosquito or wasp treatments; we will contact you promptly to rebook.

Quotes, Pricing, and When Payment Is Due

Most estimates are free and based on what we see during an inspection or what you describe over the phone. Written quotes list the treatment planned, the areas covered, and the number of visits included. A quote is valid for 30 days from the date issued pest pressure and property conditions can change, so we may need to re-inspect after that window.

Payment is due at the time of service unless you have arranged a service plan with us in advance. For multi-visit programs, each visit is billed as performed, or per the payment schedule in your agreement. We accept major payment methods and will provide a receipt for every visit.

If anything changes the price a larger infested area, additional rooms, or a different treatment method we will explain the reason and get your approval before proceeding. You will never see a surprise charge after we leave. If you have a question about an invoice, contact us within 15 days and we will review it with you.

Our Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our applications. If covered pests return within the warranty period stated on your service agreement, we will re-treat the affected areas at no additional charge. Warranty length varies by service termite work, general pest programs, and one-time treatments carry different coverage periods, and the specific duration for your job is written into your agreement before work begins.

A few things can void coverage. Skipping recommended follow-up visits, making structural changes that open new pest entry points, sanitation issues that attract pests back, or treatments performed by another company in the covered area can all end the warranty. We will tell you what your part is before we start so there are no surprises.

Warranties cover re-treatment of the work we performed. They do not cover pre-existing damage, such as wood destroyed by termites before our first visit, or new activity from neighboring properties outside the treated zone. If you think you need a warranty re-treatment, call us and we will schedule it promptly.

Limits of Our Liability

Our responsibility for any claim arising from our work is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions damage that occurred before our first visit, hidden structural issues, or infestations established in areas we could not reasonably access or inspect.

All pesticide applications are made according to the product label as required by FIFRA, by applicators certified under Indiana Code 15-16-4, using products registered in Indiana and applied in line with 355 IAC 7 rules. We follow OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) for employee safety, and we handle and dispose of containers per label directions and EPA requirements. Following label directions is the legal standard, and we do not deviate from it.

We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our control weather, delays by other contractors, or conditions you have not disclosed to us. Nothing in these terms limits liability where Indiana law does not allow such a limit. If a claim arises, contact us first so we can make it right when we can.

We may update these terms from time to time for example, when regulations or our service offerings change. The current version will always be posted on this page, and significant changes will be noted there with a revised date.

Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you have an active service agreement, we will also notify you of material changes by email or phone before your next scheduled visit.

Service Expert at Indiana Pest Pros

I started in pest control in the South Bend area, where older homes, basements, and changing seasons can bring ants, mice, and other pests indoors. I built this company to give Indiana homeowners clear inspections and treatment plans suited to the pest and the property.
